In my last post, I was talking about how sometimes it is necessary to do your best to continue being alive, doing your part, and waiting for the universe’s help.
I want to share a little background about my life. I always had a desire to live abroad, and back in 2016, I traveled to Europe for the first time. I remember that ever since I had many attempts to move to this continent, no matter the country. I got the opportunity to travel to 14 different European countries, and back in 2021, I almost stayed in Portugal after many suggestions from my friends.
I was dating two guys at the same time; everything was going amazing; my main relationship was very solid; and I was feeling with him a big sense of unconditional support, in the sense that no matter what I did, he was going to be there for me; basically, he was my pillar. After losing one of them, I was feeling so terrible that I ended up losing my pillar, and at that moment, I felt like I was in the air. A lot of insecurities arose, and I ended up not staying in Portugal.
Back then, my economy was great in Guatemala, but on that 3-month trip, I spent all of my money, and to my surprise, Guatemala required double the amount of effort to generate the same amount of money. Long story short, I ended up broke and single.
Years passed by, I had to go to therapy after feeling trapped in Guatemala, things started to look great again, I met Steven (my last boyfriend) I moved to Guatemala City, I rented my own apartment in a very good and convenient zone of the city, I got a job in sales, got a motorcycle, and started to aim for a quiet life in Guatemala with Steven, eventually move together, and get ready to make my Portugal scape plan for 2025 or potentially follow my ex wherever country he was assigned next.
But even though everything seemed great, I felt like something was missing. I started to question if I really liked my job, if I was really happy in Guatemala, and started to think, Where are my friends? What is keeping you in Guatemala? I came to the conclusion that the only thing that was mentally keeping me in my country was Steven.
One night I was meditating at home, made some dinner, brushed my teeth, wanted a quiet night alone, went to my bed, put my AirPods on, and started to hear Mago de Oz by searching for one specific song, and the playlist continued playing on Spotify suggestions, so that is when music started to talk and resonate in me. The next song that played after mine was called Abracadabra, also from Mago de Oz, followed by Vuela Alto.
Mago de Oz is a Spanish band, so I translated from Spanish to English a fragment of each song (Abracadabra and Vuela Alto).
Abracadabra:
If you have arrived here,
If you have been able to find this, this place
Don’t back down.
Let yourself be guided by my voice, and you will see that dreams can come true.
You just have to forget everything you learned yesterday.
All you have to do is let your innocence come to the surface.
If you believe in me, I will do everything.
The same color as eternity.
If you forgot to smile,
If you forgot that a laugh can heal you
From evil, from loneliness
Come and come closer; we’ll fly to a different world, to another reality.
You only have to carry smiles in your luggage.
And for a map, you’ll only have your imagination.
Inside, your doors will open.
Take a compass to find laughter.
Vuela Alto:
When the stars shine again
When there are roads and you return home
Tell them what you’ve learned; tell them the truth.
Explain to them that the sky is impossible to master.
Tell them you’ve lived in another reality.
That was the madness of hope and freedom.
Where do your demons come out to act?
Where a helping hand you know will hold you
And if forgetfulness returns and with it the pain
Give yourself just a moment to regain honor.
For all your sorrows, there is a solution.
Sing my song.
Raise your arms and join us.
Today, the stars are at your feet.
Fly high and let go.
For as long as you sing, you cannot fall.
Those songs were my motivation to trust and to know that it was my moment to move to Portugal—not in 2025, not in the future, but now. I started to meditate about Abracadabra, started to do a lot of research about that word, and I found that the meaning of Abracadabra is I will create as I speak, but I also started to have a feeling that Abracadabra was inviting me to believe in him and join his crew, so I started to meditate and recite the Abracadabra mantra:
Abracadabra
Abracadabr
Abracadab
Abracada
Abracad
Abraca
Abrac
Abra
Abr
Ab
A
Things started to work, and things began to flow. I quit my job, got my last paycheck, got my compensation, gathered all the necessary documentation for the VISA, got the embassy interview in Mexico, traveled to Mexico three times, told my ex that I had to leave, and he told me basically to spread my wings and fly, left my apartment, and I was just waiting for the embassy to respond.
While I was waiting, I had an accident with my motorcycle. I opened my head up, got some stitches, and got many big wounds in different locations of my body, but also many things were happening all at once. I lost a little faith in what I was doing; I had to do a chakra balancing, and I found out that my Ajna chakra was blocked. (For more information about this chakra, visit my other post.) And things started to be great again, but I kind of lost faith in Abracadabra, yet I was still wearing the Abracadabra amulet.
Getting back to the present moment, as per my last post, I was feeling a big urge for help and started to find a way to restore my law of attraction and manifest a better reality. I decided to continue my abracadabra meditation. So one night I lit up a candle, placed my amulet and money by the candle, and turned on an incense. I decided to add a little prayer to Abracadabra and ask for his assistance. I asked that if things started to change in my favor and if all of my needs started to get covered, I would know that it was him and that I would not turn my back again as I did before.
The next day I received a call from a company I had been applying to, but they only had positions starting in March, and it was a position I did not want. In the call, I was notified that they had the position I wanted from the beginning; it was starting in less than a week, and if I was still interested, the next day, I received a message that my Social Security was ready. Two days later, I received a message that the process to get my medications in Portugal had been completed after they said I had to also wait until mid-March.
I now start my new job on Monday, and I can confidently say that the help I needed and was waiting for has arrived.
